Ausbike – Australian Bicycle Trade Show in August

Ausbike is Australia’s answer to Eurobike, Interbike and the Taiwan Bike Show. Rather than a platform for new product launches, the trade show is an opportunity for dealers (bike shops) to catch up with importers and brands.

With already 150 exhibitors signed up for the show at the Exhibition Pavilion at the Melbourne Showgrounds in Victoria – most of the Australian Importers and Distributers are represented, and thus many of the worlds top brands, plus some local brands as well.

As a trade event, most of Australia’s Bike Shops as well clubs, teams and media are invited.

While Ausbike had a shaky start as their orginal name "Interbike Oz" clashed with the American show and so it was renamed and becomes Ausbike (Ausbike Australia Tade Expo).

The show runs on the 16th and 17th of August, 2009. The future seems rosy for Ausbike as they have already booked the Showgrounds each August until 2012.
