Rocky Trail Entertainment has launched yet another “first” in the Australian mountain bike industry. With a new online movie project the energetic Sydney-based sports events company promotes the sport of mountain biking.
They have posted two short videos about a group of mountain bike riders they selected after a contestant call on www.burningtrails.com and the MTB community can vote for their favourite rider.
The final crew of their ‘MTB Stars’ are 11 contestants, some of the most talented MTB riders in this country. The MTB community can vote online for the contestants throughout the 3 episodes and the final three have the chance to win a prize pool worth more than $3,500, including the entry to the Australian Crocodile Trophy 2009!
The infamous Crocodile Trophy is one of the hardest and most challenging MTB races in the world. Imagine – 1200 km, in 10 days, 12,000m of elevation and all that in the heat of North Queensland’s outback in October! Only about 100 riders from all over the world every year are selected to face the challenge.
Help the guys at Rocky Trail to pick the mountain bike rider to win the Crocodile Trophy ticket – and you could win as well! It’s simple:
Go to www.burningtrails.com & cast your vote. Another, third episode will go online in July.
- On 8th August, the final three will be presented at the Jetblack WSMTB 12 Hour Race at Yellomundee, organised by Rocky Trail
- Then, voting will be open again until 31st August 2009 and the winner will be announced.
- Among all who vote, Rocky Trail Entertainment is giving away 10 entries to a Rocky Trail event of your choice.
