The womens only Gear Up Girl ride takes place in March 6 (Sydney) and March 28 (Canberra) with two circuits to suit all riders. Women of all shapes and sizes, all ages and stages can participate in this recreational cycling event.
Last year there were record registrations in Sydney and Canberra. Not only did participants have fun, they raised $40,000 for childhood cancer research.
The Gear up Girl Challenge is proud to have the Oncology Children’s Foundation (OCF) as its official charity partner once again in 2010.

Funding research into childhood cancers is the vital component to finding cures and saving lives. Getting involved in the Gear Up Girl program with a group of friends is a great way to get active and socialize, and be a part of changing the outcome for kids diagnosed with cancer.
