Re whether the upgrade is worth it, for me, it depends on what you want the hbike to do and what you feel the Forza Pro doesn’t.
The revview is in editing, and you’ll have to wait a little bit more for the full scope, but the bike is GREAT !!

Hi Paul,
I have got this bike… swapped the wheels out for Dura-ace C24′s and absolutrely Love it. I am tempted by the Mezzo 90 with Sram Red..so can’t wait to read the review..Be good if you highlight if it is worth an upgrade.
When she we expect the review of the Mezzo 90.

Hi Paul,
Spoke count is only one part of the wheel equation. The life can be affected by the spoke tension evenness, how they are ridden & maintained, and also the rim srength & quality. Reynolds are a well known brand with a good reputation, and see no issue with them lasting well.
Re the frame stiffness & cracks – can’t comment on the potential longevity with any authority, but it’s a solid package that appeears to be really well built. As the frame is not a featherweight, I’d forsee no issue with the frame lasting under normal use and being maintained well.

Hello Michael. The Forza sounds great.In your opinion would the Reynolds wheels hold up over time or would so few spokes become an issue down the road? Also you say it is a hard ride (feeling every ant), could this lead to frame cracks down the road (I ride an alloy at the moment). Thanks. Regards Paul.

Before I got my Forza Di2 I rode a second hand Giant OCR1, so now I feel like I’m flying. I just love the Di2 and find that I’m now changing gears just for the hell of it – because I can! click-zz-click-zz-click-zz

Hi Mick, From memory, the std stem on the Forza Pro on the Large (57cm effective Top Tube) was 110mm.

Also, as a side note, just received the Mezzo 90 SRAM Red for testing and have just completed a couple of rides over the weekend. Standby for the review !!!

Chris what length stem do you have on your XL size bike? If it is 100mm or below then that is probably why you are getting ‘speed wobbles’.

I’ve got one of these and have been 98km/h on it no problems at all.
