I have feedback from Ferei: "The weight of the BL200 unit itself is 210 grams. The warranty is a 2 week replacement period and an 18 month repair period applies thereafter. After 18 months, free labour on repair is offered with a minor charge for parts. Spare batteries are available at a cost of $79.00."

Hi Michael,

Excellent questions. Thanks for asking.

System weight is 500g. Warranty is 3 years for light head, 12 months for battery. Fine print can be found here: http://www.ferei.com.au/warranty/

Regarding extra batteries, I don't see them as an option that's available on the Ferei site at this time. I agree that an additional battery (or two) would be a smart purchase if you were planning on racing 24 hour events.

I'll enquire and let you know the outcome.

Best,

John
