Australian cycling photographer Mark Gunter has just released an iPad App, The Race for Yellow – Stories from the Tour. While most Aussies rely on television and internet coverage to follow the Tour de France, being there is a different experience and that is what this App is all about.
“Watching the Tour de France simply doesn’t compare to being there,” says Mark Gunter. “In The Race for Yellow app I have endeavoured to capture the soul of the race. You will see your favourites, Froome, Quintana, Gerrans, Evans, Kittel and Cavendish and many other cycling stars, but also other sides of the race that let you experience the atmosphere.”
In this App, Mark Gunter takes us on a photographic journey that captures the struggle, dedication, passion and celebration of the pro-cyclists and the fans. The Stories from the Tour covers the centenary edition of the Tour de France and includes 47 photos and exclusive access to additional photo galleries and Art Prints.
The Race for Yellow App is available for download on Apple iTunes for $4.99 and buyers get exclusive access to the photo galleries and Art Prints.
