It';s a great event & tons of fun. I did the first 80km's as part of a team back when we first started cycling. Certainly wouldn't do it in the wet . The winds were bad enough when we participated!!!
I would however love to do the Colville Connection!

I've already booked my flight and accommodation. If you want to stay in Taupo, book accommodation soon - there was little available when I booked a few weeks ago.
