Tour of August
Postby BadBlood » Sun Aug 09, 2009 6:24 pm
I think about 120 entries.
Among the riff raff was myself, Don, Zoran, Chuck and i think it was Kevin who was counting us down?
I posted a time of 12m13s on the 3.8km course, equal 3rd in B grade.
Stages 2 and 3 are next weekend at Horsley Park and the Regatta Centre.

I got 13.02, happy with that, was just hoping for anything under 14mins.
Don
p.s. Yes it was Kev at the bottom sign in/timing booth
Apparantly $20 bribe got you 1min off your time

G'Day Russ, was an awesome day, if a little chilly early.ruscook wrote:Well done guys. Weather looked good from here so hope it was a good day.
Hope you're resting comfortably mate. I was where you are a few months ago and I know half the battle is getting comfortable.
Cheers

definately not chucky
I am just trying to get some mtb time in as i have 2 races coming up
50km Three Ring Circus in Wingello - August 22nd
100km Angry Doctor in Mogo - Sept 13th
So mtb takes priorty till Mid September. Road riding is good but there is nothing like fanging through the bush on some single track.
I am even riding the mtb to work tomorrow and hitting up the local Trails for a bit in the alvo.

I reckon Landsdowne is way more dangerous than the Regatta....3 stacks in 3 races......those narrow roads are accidents always waiting for sunday.
