Tonight at Canterbury (Tempe) velodrome I pulled my cleat in a standing sprint and spat the bike down the road.
Bruises and grazes as expected, but I may of hurt my hand. Have to wait until tomorrow morning to see the doctor and get an xray.
So as you suggested toolonglegs, its Saturday week.

Superman Clark missed Lois by that much...toolonglegs wrote:yes well...i was trying to help some poor girl from getting her face smashed into the ground as she came over the top of the barrier at a music festival, the few security guys missed half the people who were trying to escape the crush and as she came over the barrier i was too late to catch her and she face planted big time kicking me a good one right in the temple on the way down...next time i will stand back!.

There's a good chance that they will take the plaster one off on Thursday and replace it with a fibreglass one. What no fibrecarbon ????
Gym even more stuffed, who knows

Fibreglass cast will be so much lighter and stronger. Almost as good as CF but won't explode on contact with water.mikesbytes wrote:ETA on the cast is 6 weeks.

You'll still be able to jog and ride a stationary bike. Time to work on the aerobics.

Never say: "Unfortunately, I'm left handed ...". Rather, say: "Unfortunately, it's my left hand that's damaged ...".mikesbytes wrote: ... Unfortunately I'm left handed, so signatures are a bit hard to do at the moment ...
ps. I fixed up your spelling (anything for a fellow left-hander). I'm sure that it was your cast that caused the error.
