Are you good at chatting? It's a necessary tactic.

It is amazing what the one armed man can do...even the one arm in a cast man...on Sunday night I was watching one crowd surfing, cast in the air...problem was when he came over the barrier there was no one there to catch him and I think he did his shoulder in!....oh the perils of alcohol!!!.I also used to race motorX with a one armer who rode like a demon!.

You could always take up downhill mountain biking like this bloke. He's only got one arm and still does !! BAN ME NOW FOR SWEARING !! which I would not attempt!

Cheers,
Graeeme

After much discussion based on my main two sports, they decided not to pin it and it is now set in a plastic open cast thing. What I didn't know was that it had multiple breaks and its a punch break, like you lost your temper and punched a wall. Perhaps I was still holding the handlebar and punched the ground?

Why is pinning contra-indicated for cyclists and weightlifters? Conservative cast treatment may leave you with a deformity if the alignment is off. Lucky you didn't break all four.

They didn't regard that I'll loose any grip strength. I'm going to follow it up. We should discuss

Hey Mike...well I would have been no use at hefron today...it was windy and a good turn out (25ish)...but I got dropped at 4 to go and there were only 7 left ahead of me.My av for the 34mins was 178/max 190 and I was only at the back.2 went away quite early and stayed away...I think my performance has more to do with lack of fitness than a hard race, but still must of been reasonably hard.

But it does sound like a hard race if only 7 were left out of 25 in the bunch, usually C stays together.

Yeh I suck in the wind, so it would of been good practice for me.

Dangerous to ride in front of the grade cap.

The big guy Mike was talking about rides a blue Trek IIRC.

Ive got some Tuff gloves, though for the road not track - love em, they'll do you good!

These gloves wouldn't of stopped me breaking my hand, I've examined the bike now (its at the track) and there's quite a bit of damage both sides of the hand, clearly my hand hit the ground quite hard.
