Within the 2nd 7k lap I was already struggling !
This was for 2 reasons.
1. Still recovering from Sundays 83k ride.
2. Wed night for the Turra crowd is mostly A and B graders, I wonder why I was struggling being a 47yr old noob :P

I hadn't said anything to my mate riding next to me who is few years younger but he came closer saying "cheez this sure is quicker than last week, how about we peel off to the back?!" I looked and nodded :D
Looking at the computer we were avg 30-33 I think.

Within another lap we ended up sitting at a comfortable pace for us dropping back further which didn't matter, it was great just to work out my soreness still did 50k's avg 25.

Quite a few packs there last night, Mascot rider shirts amongst others.

Still great place to just clock up some k's,build a sweat up and working on making my Syd/Gong ride comfortable enough.

LOL.... :D ,I know the reason you suffered last night,Tim and Benny were on the front nearly the whole time, talked to tim last night and he said he was a bit sick of the guys who do the sprint then turn around early and do a half lap so that they can join in the sprint again next lap with out doing any work :? .

What slack'os. When I use to do LACC training, I'd do the lap plus sprint and it was a paceline, so we all shared in the work.

Yep saw that a couple of times late in the ride, we'd see 2-3 of them re joining at different stages.
Mind you they obviously had trouble keeping pace, late in the ride one young guy joined us and mentioned he's not up to sustaining that pace.
The pack halfed I reckon by then so they were really going or half may have been B graders dropping out.
Far beyond our league but was good to watch.
Look forward to C grade next week :D
