How on earth did you achieve such a magnificent flat bar to hood position? You couldn't fault that with a spirit level even.

Thats cause I set everything with a spirit level .

I went totally weenie once on my mtb when I was riding at an OK level.I also worked in a motorbike shop so could get a lot of mtb parts at cost thru one of the importers...got my Gary Fisher ProCaliber to 10.5kgs at the time which was light especially for the frame size and the year (2000)...but it only lasted 1 race .Ok it was 24 race but I only rode it for 6 hours...forks were trashed and so were the wheels.Since then I have tried to find a good middle round on all my bikes...obviously I fail quite often!.My biggest problem is the amount of flex I get out of bikes...always have to back the brakes way off to stop wheels rubbing when the power goes down.I expect that is because I am heavy but also tall so get a lot of leverage.
One day I would like to go totally weenie on a road bike to...over here it is a very common past time...most bikes ridden by the guys in my club are sub 6.5kgs.One is sub 5.5kgs....but I still used to beat 80% of them .
Edit...being a weight weenie is much easier when you don't break every thing you touch!....including your body!!!.

Wow you must be putting out some serious power to flex parts. I'm not surprised when you say you get wheels rubbing on brake pads when you have the power on. I've never had that problem. Most probably because i'm 55kg and 168cm tall. You must get quite a bit more frame flex compared to someone my size. Unfortunately there's probably nothing you can do about it. Your frame diamonds are always going to be bigger then mine for the same tube size and strength.

You can get super light parts which are just as tough and rigid as the heavy everyday stuff out there but they cost a hell of a lot.

The weight of the bike is more significant to a 55kg rider. For me its way down the list of performance priorities;
- power delivery
- rider preservation
- aerodynamics

At the UCI world masters track championships, my track bike weighed 8.2kg in race format and 7.9kg in time trail format. A long way above the 6.8kg legal limit. Ironically my road race bike weighs less, despite having gears and brakes.

Scuba23 what is on your rear fender other then the rear tail light?
It looks like some sort of mounting point for something else.

It's designed to mount two Cateye TL LD610 lights.

Very nice indeed! That's the beauty of cycling, wether you are a racing fanatic, a WWeeny or both, it's all good! Performance and racing is a big part of cycling but we also have to understand that some cyclists are fitness enthusiasts and also look at builds as a hobby.

Ha...nah mate the next upgrade (unfortunately) is a new frame. This one has a crack and I'm waiting on the warranty frame to come in. Why unfortunately? The new frame is a red one.

Gee they look great on your bike. I have the Edge 1.45 clinchers on Tune Mig45/M140 hubs.
I de-badged the rims because the white didn't really suit my bike. I just found a guy that sells the Edge wheel stickers and i've asked for some to be made up in metalic silver.
I'll have to take pictures and post here when they arrive.

Parlee Z4 in Large, LEW Pro VT1 wheelset, Zipp cranks (180mm arms), AX lightness brakes/bar/stem, New Ultimate seatpost, M2Racer seat, pedals and skewers, Sram Red FD/RD/Shifters. Nice little project. Still waiting on some more bits to get it to 4.75 with this frame...
