UCI World Cycling Tour 2011 - Perth

This has been mentioned in the WA forum, but I thought that our eastern states friends may be interested in coming over and racing in Perth.

There is a 20k TT on Thursday the 14th of April and a 110k road race on Saturday the 16th.

This is all followed by our annual ~235k ride through the hills called 5 Dams.
Its kinda like around the bay, but instead of actually having a bay, we have 5 half full dams and lots of hills.

UWCT Perth 2012 is on at the end of this month. Very similar to last year, but with some big improvements we hope. The UCI have also made some big changes to the series - the final this year is in South Africa in August. The event web site carries plenty of details - uwctperth.com.au We are very proud of this event and hope to welcome plenty more interstate and international riders to the event this year. Hope you can make it.

They are both great courses. The TT can be quite technical out along Bovell Way, and Digby Drive is a sweet home straight And the road race has decent gradients to make it very interesting.
