here it is, finally done this afternoon. went to cellbikes (got lost going there) to buy all the stuff my tire needs then went home then put them all together. I actually rode it and it was ok... but felt heaavvyyy. I saw the CELL full carbon bike and it was very tempting to upgrade. sigh

hey mates any ideas just in case I decide to sell my bike how much is it worth?

Very nice. I have a machine of similar age with RX 100 Group-set. I think the RX100 was a quality piece of kit.

hi mates... thanks for all the compliments... prior to completing the bike I was already training in the gym on stationary cycles (highest load, out of the saddle) in preparation for real bike riding. but due to a pelvic injury in the past, I might need to sell this. I'm not updated with the prices of steel cr-mo bikes now, so if I decide to sell, can someone give me an idea how much is a fair price for a bike like mine given it's pristine condition?

I'd give you $20 for her but that's because I'd need the balance of what I think she's worth as rent in advance about 7seconds after uttering those fateful words: "Sweetheart, I got a new bike"

You would have to discount it as the second "I" is missing from aluminium.

It says Aluminum on the tube, you're saying it's Cr-Mo, is Aluminum the model name or something?
I say keep it and work on getting your hip sorted out, you never make your money back on a bike.

janus: Those are just stickers. it's not an aluminum bike. it's a tange II cr-mo custom frame bike. I will stop riding for a while and check myself into rehab (not charlie sheen rehab)

R12: it's actually consistent.... cannondale is made in the US and americans spell aluminium without the second 'I'
