'Heavy Duty' tubulars?

Postby ldrcycles » Wed Apr 20, 2011 7:35 pm

Does anyone know of tubular tires on the market that would have the same puncture protection focus as say Schwalbe Marathon/Michelin City?

How about Vittoria Paves? i.e. the green tyres that everyone runs in Paris-Roubaix.

I thought the ones to have in this year's race were the Veloflex Roubaix. Unfortunately no-one brings the Roubaix in to AU, and they are mighty thin on the ground online.

Yet he still got a flat in the Arenberg forest

Vittoria Rubino Pro's are a good clincher and are available as a tub

My Veloflex Roubaix have just arrived from the UK. They are a little wider than the Sprinters or the Servizio Corse but are much heavier. The tread is much thicker. THey aren't going to clock up the miles, rather, just for some more durability.
