Had a great time today (big improvement over last year), still not up to the standard of the first finishers, sprinting to the line after 100k (or 160k in the case of the nutters who do that lol).

Had a damn good laugh at the start line when the bloke reading the announcements said 'see that subaru over there with USM events on it? Thats the lead bike, it will maintain race pace, you must not overtake the lead bike'. I said to the guy next to me 'you got that mate? This isn't a race and that's not a car!'

Anyone else do this 'not-race'? What did you think?
