Mark Dwyer and Peter Van Gent this weekend - Mudgee
Postby Kev365428 » Mon Jul 04, 2011 5:20 pm
Anyone else going to Mudgee for these races?
I've been struggling with a head cold for the last 10 days, and done very little on the bike, so fully expecting to get smashed in a big way.
Oh well, at least I can pick up some nice wine to bring home.

i will be joining you on the pain train/hurt box Kev.
I rode a total of 150km in June so fitness is not at my peak. Unlike you though i have not been sick, just very lazy

I'll be there too and just like you Kev i'm suffering with a cold. We can cough and splutter our way through the handicap together.

My plan is to lay a slick of snot all over the road to cause havoc for the block and scratch riders.

Weather forecast for Mudgee on Saturday and Sunday morning is frost. Good thing Saturday start is at noon so it should be a barmy 11. Were as Sunday, the expected temp overnight is -2
. Might consider riding with a hot water bottle

I wouldn't count on me for a lead out mate....not unless you're after the lantern rouge that is.
