Hello
I've been looking around on the net and can find quite a few multi-day events for mountain bikers but not on the bitumen.
I guess they're harder to organise due to road closures etc but does any body know of any?
Thanks

Re: Multi-day road rides(races)There use to be a brilliant one here in Tassie that was three days.
I think it was called th Harvest cycle event. Was a time trial, hill climb road race, longer road race, crit and the last day coincided with the Mt wellington Challenge which is a uphill time trial. Mind you it hasn't been run for the last five years. Not sure why possibly due to difficulty in organising it.
Re: Multi-day road rides(races)There are a few that I know of up here in QLD but they are generally only open to those of us with a Cycling QLD license.
Similar format to what skull mentioned. Quality, not quantity.
Re: Multi-day road rides(races)tour of Bright - its on in Victoria next weekend, entries closed but a great (tough) race
tour of Canberra - mid year, also a tough one, you have to like the hills Bathurst weekend - not a true tour as the stages are not linked but if you go for the weekend you can do hill climb / crit / RR I think there was also one up in Coffs earlier this year
Re: Multi-day road rides(races)I seem to recall there is a two day event in Cootamundra, and one run by Sutherland and Illawarra. ACT Vets do one near Goulburn. You can get details on Cycling NSW events calendar (or at their website for the ACT Vets). There is also the Tour of August by LACC - although I think this is more a series of single day events with an overall tally.
