Visiting in March, riding options?

Hi all,

A Londoner here whoes getting down to Aus for March - wondered if anyone had any advice on getting some riding in (and making use of your awesome weather). Will be in Sydney, Melborne and Canberra (plus others) and am keen to do some good riding, not bringing my bike. The options I was looking at were for a cycle tour, training weekend or trip or renting a road bike and tagging along with a friendly club.

Want to make it a decent effort, if I'm going to justify carrying shoes and kit around with me. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what would work best?

James

geezer!

in sydney most people will head either north to places like akuna bay & west head, bobbin head, galston and brooklyn, south to waterfall and the royal national park, or east to the beaches.

in canberra there is a little knoll called Black Mountain that's' worth a look
