How much Stan's in a 700 tyre

hoping someone can advise how much Stans tyre sealant for a 700 road bike tube.
Stated amount would seem a little high ?

I punt with 30 to 40 g. I'm using Intensives and they are pretty tough. I've only had one puncture I was aware of and that was a biggish hole low in the sidewall. The sealant worked after a bit but I lost a lot of pressure. I topped it up with the mini pump to about 70 psi and that was plenty for the ride home. When I subsequently put a bit more air in the seal blew out so I removed the tyre and stuck a patch on the inside. That fixed it.

I retired that tyre when the casing started showing at 12600 km. At that point there were a few small white spots on the tyre that I took to be sealed holes but I could be wrong. I didn't inspect it that closely.
