How much should I sell these wheels for?I just bought a 2012 Giant TCR 0, rrp = $3,999. I don't need the wheels that come with it. They are the Giant P-SL0 WheelSystem. I want to sell them as brand new but have no idea how much I should sell them for. Any ideas?
Re: How much should I sell these wheels for?Keep them as breakage back ups or trainers. I'd reckon they are more value to you in that capacity than the small amount of cash they fetch if you find the right buyer.

Re: How much should I sell these wheels for? What he said. Not many people would be interested in housebrand wheels. You'd stand a better chance of shifting them without the branding.
A spare wheelset means never having to say "Bugger, it's a beautiful morning and I broke a spoke last night." ...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

Re: How much should I sell these wheels for?spare wheels are great. I have 'alternative wheels'. Zondas with 11-25 for local flat and undulating and Fulcrum Zeros with 13-29 for the hills.
It’s more like our thoughts are thinking us than we are thinking them.
Re: How much should I sell these wheels for? Thanks for the advice everyone but I truly don't need these wheels (I have plenty of others).

Re: How much should I sell these wheels for?... which is pretty ordinary for a wheelset from a $4k bike
If you already have plenty of spares as you say and you wish to de-clutter, then eBay is the go, $0.99 no reserve and with plenty of good quality photos. Good big clear photos of the actual item helps put buyers minds at ease, and they are prepared then to bid higher. Being prepared to ship nationally is also wise. Get a wheel box from your LBS. Buyer pays shipping of course, or you can go "free shipping" as a ploy to boost bidding. I always have "$1 NR" in the title if I can fit it if I'm doing the 99c no reserve thing. The above approach sees me sell things for consistently more than other ebayers who don't bother. What if it only sells for $0.99 or cents in the dollar? Only happened once for a broken phone message machine that I sold for a bet (it sold at a (very small) profit after fees, so I won It never has for popular items. Bike wheels are popular items.
