New Dura Ace 9070 Di2 Shifter Compatability with Ultegra Di2

G'day Everyone,

Does anyone know if the new DA9070 Shifters will work with Ultegra 6770 Di2? The new 9000 series uses the same plugs and wiring now so it would be great to hear if it is compatable or not? The Shimano Tech Enquiry email address has an out of office for several weeks so no info to be had from there:( I'd like to order a set for the new bike if they will work!

From what I understood, 9070 and 6770 parts are interchangeable. The only difference between the two are weight and smaller derailleur size for the DA.

I cant imagine the switching in the shifters will be any different as you say, its all in the construction...might be worth experimenting!!
