My Tour de France

Postby toolonglegs » Tue Sep 23, 2014 6:56 am

Not very often I sneak into a breakaway so I better post the proof!... 3 months off racing, weight is up again ( no surprises there after 3 months eating and drinking! ) ... payed the price by straining a hammie but enjoyed every moment of ripping myself a new hole!... didn't pay off though, caught with 4k or so to go after 50k or so off the front. 72km (AT) 42.3av. Last road race of 2014.

Only decided to go 1hr before hand... One of those days where you wouldn't ride if you didn't race. Back wheel is my CX bikes ... Can't believe a 28 fits in this frame!. It was a day for fast wheels though it's true!.
Should have put a pm on... Would have been some good data :-) .

Probably the best pics in this thread so far :) Junior is into it, that must make dad pretty happy. I'd love it if any of my boys took an interest in cycling 8)

The face suggests that he is a Voeckler fan ?

Will you be taking him when the Wallabies spring tour hits town ? Are the All Blacks stopping off in France this year ?

You where a busy boy!!!
No idea yet... Sure he would enjoy it!. We were supposed to head back to NZ for Christmas but just too expensive for a less than 2 week holiday. So better do something to make up for it!
