But as it stands at the moment I am getting some cortisone injections into the lumbar area of my spine on Monday 23rd August. If that doesn't work I will push for the same but higher up in conjunction with Maignes Syndrome (that is what my symptoms come closest to).
So hopefully by mid late next week I will feel some improvement if the Rhumeotologist is right...at the moment I have put on 10kgs in 3 months (BAD) and really can't do any exercise at all.
Cheers for thinking of me!.

I've only put on 4kg over winter, mainly due to illness. But I've still been riding occasionally, so I have no excuse.toolonglegs wrote:Hey Perry...it's all over in the "Nuts" thread in cycling health.

It takes time toolonglegs, I know I have had the same. Look after yourself and just walk when you can. This is the worst pain, as I said before I didn’t have the same disc as you but got the pain in my periformes and down the leg, you have it in your nuts. Maybe the mrs can rub them gently in the evening, it will helptoolonglegs wrote:I started back on CK today funnily enough...only actually put on 8kgs but I haven't done any exercise at all for 3 months now.Tried to go for a walk last night but I was in major pain within 2km's .Oh well...tommorow fingers crossed...I have all the needles and drugs in my grubby little hands...looking forward to some agony tommorow .

I am not too bothered by the groin pain anymore...it is just referred pain from somewhere else...it is the pains in the lower back and thighs that bugs me the most.

1. Stay...I haven't really found much work...and the well paid contract of my better half is finishing...unless we take option 2.
2. Move to Argentina and permanent contract...it might be the safest south american country but it is still south america and we have small children.
3. Go to London...great for my work and I love it...but not so great for the kids.
4. Go to NZ...great lifestyle...not so much work...but may happen in the future.
5. All expenses paid relocation to Sydney...who knows how that will work out.
I think 5 is the best option for now.
