Im very much a fan of Argon 18. Everyone has a Giant. Argon 18's are a bit different and a better bike in my opinion.

Giant make a few million bikes a year. Do they make frames for Argon? I know approx 40% of their frames that leave the Giant factory come out with different brands on em.

End of the day though, go with the bike that you can get fitted up best on.

Take them both for a spin and see how they feel for you. Ive currently got a 2013 Argon 18 Krypton (same frame as 2011 and 2012 model) and a Giant TCR Advanced SL Limited. Obviously the SL wont be the same as the Advanced 2 as they use different frames, but i like both my bikes for different scenarios.

The Giant is a stiff weapon that is super light and very twitchy. You get a bit more road buzz through it, but its the trade off for being stiff and translating the power to the ground better.

The Argon 18 is also a great bike and is a lot more comfortable. The seat stays are designed to flex and soak up the road buzz and it works well. I have it set up with aero carbon clinchers at the moment and choose it for longer rides. I race it in crits every so often as well and still finds it reacts well to out of the saddle sprints and manoeuvres quickly.

Basically its going to come down to what bike feels better for you. I test rode the Giant TCR Advanced, Trek Madone 4.2, and a few others when i was looking around and decided on the Argon due to the feel etc. But thats a completely subjective exercise and will vary depending on personal preferences. Ride them both and decide by choosing the one that makes you want to get out and ride the most. Between those bikes, you cant make a bad decision.
