In a fast pace line: a short film from the 2015 MS Gong Ride

Postby gerardvok » Fri Feb 05, 2016 1:15 pm

I'm beginning to shoot ride films. For future films my intention is to add multiple cameras/angles on different bikes and some chase car and/or drone footage. Ultimately I'd like to offer services to cycling clubs and cycling activity organisers, who would like a short film produced about their adventures on the road. This is my first film, and only from a single point of view plus a little official footage from the Gong Ride with permission of the organisers. My goal for this first film was simply to promote the sportive angle of the ride.

Hope you like it. If you do then please consider giving me a thumbs up on youtube.

Happy riding.

Thanks. I'll review it. Wouldn't care to specify?
Kind regards.

One I spotted was "aereal", which should be "aerial" - hope that helps.

Thumbs up from me. Makes me maybe want to ride it again... all those well-organised disciplined riders was a stark contrast the chaotic and anxious experience i had on my first (and last) experience.

Looked a lot nicer when you start just behind the police escort.
When I did it in 2012 I must have had about 5000 riders in front of me, and 4950 of them were slower than me.
Was a very frustrating experience.

The video was good. I've been tinkering with the same, and found that just having a front (or rear) limits your options, so I run two cameras most the time now.
