Top Single Day Road Cycling Routes in Australia

Postby Veroparsons » Sun Oct 23, 2016 8:08 am

Hello, we are from New York City and will be in Australia for approximately 12-15 days.

We're looking for scenic, beautiful, low or no traffic paved routes for road cycling. Approximately 50-80km routes. We're thinking of picking 3-4 places anywhere in your lovely continent, and are willing to traveling by plane if necessary and to rent bikes in each location.

Any thoughts would be immensely appreciated.

Thank you,

Veronica

Australia is a big place.... If you give some information on where you will be you'll get some sugestions.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

And when? Might be able to fit in some event rides if you enjoy that type of thing:

Neither are close to the OP's distance of 50-80km.

And Acheron Way is not entirely paved. Beautiful though.
