MCCC Summer Crit series

Postby Kev365428 » Tue Oct 21, 2008 7:53 pm

This summer, the Macarthur Collegians CC is holding the Hayters Cash Series criterium races starting on Sunday, November 16th.

First place in the series is worth $300, with cash prizes down to 15th place, plus prize money to 3rd place in each grade, each week. The series runs for 6 weeks with the final race held on Sunday 21st December to finish off the season for the year.

Further details can be found on the MCCC website (click on the link in my sig) about the series.

Hope to see some of the racing regulars there, particularly the footpath racing crew

No Kev don't invite them, we want to keep the spoils in house

Seriously though will be a great series and hope Pete, BMX Bandito and the crew can get out there at some stage. They can knock off Razorback after the race and add it to their HTFU conquests.

Your right Chuck.

Pete and the boys are no longer invited.....unless they do 5 climbs up Old Razorback Rd prior to each race.

whats the deal...do i just register on the day? do i have to be a member of MCCC?

i've never raced before and this looks like just the thing i'm interested in i.e smeaton grange short course (apart from being an hour and a half from my place...anything closer to city?)

(Menangle looks good too but no races at the moment)

Tempted. Need to get up pretty early to catch a train to Campbelltown
If the R-1 rule is broken, what happens to N+1?

You need to be a member of a club and hold a current licence. If your not a member and you do not have a licence, you can sign up with MCCC on the day. Now is the best time to get a licence as you get 15 months for the price of 12.

you buy a yearly license (approx $200) and you can race however many times you like and at any club race you want to. Buy now and it will expire end of 2009.
