Boa IP1's

I got some Bont Vaypour S shoes about 1.5months ago, which are fitted with BOA IP1 dials.

Out of the box, they make a very distinct click with each index of the dials. However, I noticed tonight that the clicking is now very muted on the upper dials, but remains distinct on the lower dials (near toes).

Does anyone have experience with this?

Is this normal wearing in (happening faster on the upper dials due to longer lace length)? Or is something going wrong with the upper dials?

Update on this - after a couple of rides, the clicking sound on both dials is back to normal. I'm thinking they were fouled up after a very wet ride and have now cleared themselves.
