Not something I'm proud of, and I have a long journey ahead of me.

That's BMI, not weight

Thats a huge drop, mate your moving in the fast lane.

That drop hasn't happened all that quickly. I'm aiming to be 30.0 by 1/1/08 - I just have to be disciplined.

How many calories in a kilo of fat ?
If the R-1 rule is broken, what happens to N+1?

Human body fat I believe it's about 3500 cal / kilo
Eating 500 cal less a day or burning 500 cal extra a day should lose you a kilo a week.

Could be wrong but.

So that explains why I lost a kilo in a week, not just inaccurate measurement.
I cut back from my usual intake of 3,000 - 4,000 per day to around 2,500 (estimated not counted). My body hurts, its not recovering quickly enough.

Brown fat, or white fat. I know nothing on this topic, will read the links. Thanks sogood.

Yes way. 3,500 cal was for one pound.

It'll be right if you're consuming 550 cal less and using 550 cal more in exercise.
