160mm of rain from 9am to 3am.
Why 3am you ask, because our power went off. By deductive reasoning I worked out it went off at about 1am. I was hot and sweaty so work up at about 2:40am.
Being professionally trained in electricity I though there must be a problem with the power board.
I grapped my trusty bike light (which is where this classifies for a cycling post). It doubles as the family torch so is kept upstairs.
Bugger me if 3 circuit breakers were on the ground in a pool of water and the other 2 had been switched off.
After drying them I got everything back up and running.
Searched the estate but no signs of forced entry. Most of under the house was under a few centrimetres of water so I couldn't find any wet foot prints. In fact the only dry square metre was infront of the power board!
I closed the large front gates and went back to sleep.

Sounds dodgy, they didn't come out on their own
If the R-1 rule is broken, what happens to N+1?
