Know what you mean Bnej, the locals here run theirs without brakes they just drag a foot on the back tyre behind the seat

Still haven't worked out if it's a mental or physical thing. Are they unbreakable because they have no fear of the consequences or because they're made of rubber.

Ow! Not nice!
I sort of wonder how people my size (180 cm) contort themselves to ride such tiny bikes any distance at all. There's a whole fleet of them at my school, every afternoon they stagger off, no helmets, baseball caps pointing at odd angles... One lad has a trick of riding along the street, then slamming on the backpedal brake to leave a nice fat trail of rubber down the middle of the road. Intelligence.
