Gee, I'm so full of sympathy for Mellissa - it's a good thing she's not a smoker as well, that really stuffs up the unborn :?

Great one. In January with fires near Berowra (Sydney) the news cut to a woman concerned about bushfires which may reach her house, in between drags. Very sad.

To be honest I am a bit of a part time smoker, tho of course i am not pregnant. yeah i know you purists will be tutting and all that, but a guy has to have some thing bad in life. I don't drink alcohol anymore, and havn't for a few years. As it is the smokos won't kill me, which is bizarre in a way. dam these pills I've lost the plot again.............

There was a thread on a yank forum not that long ago discussing how many miles you had to ride before you could justify a good cigar

I don't mind people who smoke, it's when they impose it on their kids that I get annoyed and the hypocrisy of that woman bitching about other things affecting her unborn while she sucks of fags is about as bad as it can get :?

I/we have no children, vile things!. I agree, ppl who smoke , with kids and all is bad, and while pregnant is just asking for trouble. I have no problem if she wants to suck off fags, provided they don't mind of course, I guess in her state she has to get pleasure where she can.

It's a timed event over some crazy distances - it's not a race, it's a personal test of endurance and self sufficiency.

Audax Australia

The shortest distances are 50km, which are easily achievable, with a three speed levels - you choose the level you're aiming at before you set off.

But the longest is 1200km
