Another victim... :D

Postby moosterbounce » Sat Dec 06, 2008 3:51 pm

So...in a previous post regarding upgraditis, I said I was happy with my bike but one day I would swap the 105 on scotty to the tinny and put some nicer running gear on scotty. One day...

Well, this day is now!! A mate at work bought a 2nd hand Scott Addict Limited Edition yesterday (I was lucky enough to be in Canberra and witnessed the grin after his test ride :D ). Problem for him was that he is a Campy man and was wanting to put his own Chorus gear on it. So... we shared in the bike purchase and I get the groupo.

The Tinny will very soon be running 105 :)

...and...

Scotty will very soon be running Dura Ace :D :D :D

I bet you got a good deal. My Scott is unrecognisable from its original.

I am Wayne and I have upgraditis, but I may have been cured after upgrading to SRAM!

Got it for $800. Done 2000km and not a mark on any of it. No carbon though...some titanium though so I can't complain :)

Just have to go back to Canberra for work one more time and bring it back with me. I want it now!!

But I thought Mr Scott was already the perfect man.

The strong silent type, always ready and willing when you want him and compliant to your every whim.
