New Bike.

Postby SLH » Mon Dec 29, 2008 1:32 pm

Finally picked up the new steed last week...just before Xmas. Clocked up around 250km and it's running like a dream (after an initial hiccup).

Sorry about the large photo.

Apart from a road bike, what is it, a Look?

Is that any better? If not...it's a BMC Pro.

Nice lounge suite! Is that leather? No, seriously, I hope the BMC Pro is comfortable on that comfy suite!

And a bearskin rug to add to the ambience. Nah...just kidding! But I'll make sure the bike is as comfy as it needs to be. It actually hangs on my wall (when not in use) away from any prying hands.

Strange that you like it Dean. ;)

The things that stand out most are the acceleration and cornering. Unbelievably smooth and in control around corners, roundabouts etc.

Yeah I came down Greenhill Rd on my first ride and really enjoyed how well it descended compared to my old bike. Seemd to breeze around the corners at a good pace and you can really lean it over. Had to calm myself down before the hairpins as I could see myself gettiing over confident and losing some skin

Too true Dean. I came down Greenhill Road myself today and felt a tad overconfident. :)

Looking forward to stetching out a bit more with the new, longer, head stem.
