Cycling in Bali (Ubud)

Postby Aushiker » Sun May 24, 2009 3:23 pm

G'day

Likely to be heading over to Bali for a week in November and wondering about taking a bike with me. Anyone had experience doing same or renting there? We will be staying up in the mountains at Ubud.

Thanks
Andrew

The roads are chaotic - no respect for road rules. He who has the most mass has right of way. You can imagine where that leaves cyclists.

Get a mountain bike and stick to the foot trails. I hear/read that Bali is starting to register as an mtb tour destination.
