Roller Trainers -V- Wind/Mag Trainers???In the market for a trainer to use with my roadie. Are roller trainers as difficult to use as they look (with clipless P's)? Any other tips for roller trainers or should I just buy a standard issue wind or mag trainer? Safe riding guys, Mobster.
Most of the riders on this site have either used the mag trainer or rollers but not both.
I've only used rollers and have had no problems with them. _________________________________________________________________________________ Burn plenty of Glycogen Frame Size Calculator.....Park Tools Repair Guides Frame Size Calculator.....Rolling Resistance.....Rolling Performance.....Sheldon Brown's Bicycle Technical Info training log.....Body-Mass Index, Waist-to-Height Ratio, Basal Metaboic Rate Bicycle FAQs.....Bicycle Safety.....Cadence in Cycling.....Types of Bicycles I've got stuff on ebay
Is it one of those things that you learn pretty quick how to do it ?
Do you have to pedal all the time or can you briefly "coast" to assist in unclipping ? I would prefer a set of rollers, but would like to try some out first.....
I've only done it on a track bike, which is fixed, so no coasting. _________________________________________________________________________________ Burn plenty of Glycogen Frame Size Calculator.....Park Tools Repair Guides Frame Size Calculator.....Rolling Resistance.....Rolling Performance.....Sheldon Brown's Bicycle Technical Info training log.....Body-Mass Index, Waist-to-Height Ratio, Basal Metaboic Rate Bicycle FAQs.....Bicycle Safety.....Cadence in Cycling.....Types of Bicycles I've got stuff on ebay
