Oh Dear

I was just standing at the line, hanging up a load of washing, feeling rather smug about the percentage of cycling clothing in the load, when I noticed I was hanging up socks in PAIRS  I think my nerd index just went up a notch

It's when you start colour coding the pegs to match the clothes, that's when you are in dodgy territory .... :?

There's another way? Surely doing the least possible amount of work when you put your socks on isn't nerdy...

I do too, mine are all weathered wooden pegs :D

The line inches of cycling duds nearly equalled the line inches of non-cycling, so I must be getting the balance about right somewhere ... or I'm having one of my 'intense' periods again

What's wrong with that? Or have I just found out why I struggle to cope with shoes that don't match my bike

Moo...

There's absolutely, positively nothing wrong with colour coding pegs - or putting pairs of socks next to each other. Nor is there anything wrong with making sure that anything that your 19 year old son has snuck into your washing pile finishes up with pink pegs, either! :)

Oh My, I let the OH do those jobs. I do the Blue jobs and he does the Pink jobs, to which he is somewhat suited. He has a theatrical nature and also likes to colour coordinate pegs to cloths. Nothing wrong with it if you are theatrically inclined, or eccentric, or probably just badly in need of a lay

It's when you are hanging your clothes on the line while you are still wearing them that you really need to worry.

I have found another use for washing lines of the hills hoist variety. They are handy for hanging the bike on when I am working on it. :D

Let me the first to congratulate you on the 2000 posts. They are of good quality too. Pity we couldn't find some of the bike articles after they went for a ride. :D

Thanks mate.
As for the articles, I've rewritten them on my website - maybe they even make sense now that they no longer bear any relation to reality  Hang on, nothing I write bears any relation to reality

Congratulations Richard.

Make sure you own more than one set of clothes, so you don't have to be naked while you are hanging clothes out.
