+1 - I did it on Saturday the 27th. And with what was then a probable (now surgically fixed) broken ulna.

its 7 months till you are in Tokyo but you already have already selected some framebuilders to visit and have them bookmarked in your gps.
Ever since the vasectomy...I mostly ride fixed.

You guys are all weird. You know you've lost perspective when you think a car is a better mode of personal travel, when you park your car in the garage, you think a 30km bike ride is too far and you stop visiting Bicycles.net.au. The very concept of "losing your perspective" completely depends on what your original perspective was. You guys are all referring to things which reinforce my perspective. Cheers, Graeme

...you throw your drink bottle to the side of the road when you're finished with it.
EVEN WORSE
...you wait until going past pedestrians/cafe dwellers to throw it so they have a 'souvenir'.

Can I have the blonde on the end instead? she is something else Noice!! She looks alot like the chick scolding the naughty horse next door to one of the deliveries I did today.... what a view - When you spend your whole day at work thinking about bikes instead of the office furniture your supposed to be selling. - When all the other guys at work talk about the "tough" game of soccer they played over the weekend and all you can think is.... "SOFT! try a real sport".... it cant be that tough based on the beer belly their still sporting... but you keep your mouth shut because you know they'll start ripping on your lycra outfits and shaved legs - When your driving and you nearly have a headon with oncoming traffic because your trying to see what bike the guy on the other side of the road is riding - When you spot a painful looking hill you have to ride up it. - Your history on the computer reads ..... pbk, pbk, pbk, pbk, bicycles.net.au, bicycles.net.au, wiggle.co.uk, wiggle.co.uk, trekbikes.com, trekbikes.com,bicycles.net.au, bicycles.net.au,bicycles.net.au, bicycles.net.au,bicycles.net.au, bicycles.net.au, pbk, pbk, pbk, ridleybikes.com,ridleybikes.com, bicycles.net.au, bicycles.net.au,bicycles.net.au, bicycles.net.au,bicycles.net.au, bicycles.net.au, trekbikes.com, trekbikes.com........ etc

you really know you have lost perspective when you realise: * your car is worth more than your bike (and you travel further on your bike) * your car is insured but your bike isn't * you are looking at a new car and a new bike and you are prepared to pay more for the car. I really gotta get my perspective back.

- when you have an instinct to roll on your back as you take a tumble, so the bike is lifted clear off the ground with your shoes still clipped in. - you check the bike for damage before you look at yourself after the stack

- When my wife tells me that I've lost my nice bottom and there's nothing to grab hold of. (This morning she was going to see our physio and said she would tell him that I'm entering an ironman event - totally untrue!) - When you get back from a 1hr hard ride on the way home from work and only have 30mins to make the dinner and head out the door to swim a few kms....

When youre secretly glad your high end bike got stolen coz it just means you have a legitimate reason to go shopping for a new one (this happened to me twice!) But yeah, enough stealing of my bikes please junkies.

Your waiting for the warrenty frame to be delivered and because you are SOOOOO impatient you go and buy a new bike and then ask that they don't tell you when the new frame is coming in for at least 4 weeks!

. You are getting up a stupid o'clock , going for a two hour ride and getting back home so you can go to work, and its still so dark that you have to have your headlights on (and you think that's kind of cool) . Your lights are worth 25% of your bike (see above)
