Is that an Aluminium frame, and it cracked mid tube? I can understand at a weld but not mid tube. I am sure they will replace it pronto, maybe even get a free upgrade.

I suppose with the competition by manufacturers to make lighter frames this is going to happen from time to time.

You're catching on. Best avoid these type of threads if it upsets you. For most of us it is just a bit of entertainment.
