He really likes bicycles:
He flew into the house, sat on my Orbea and then demanded that I go outside and dig in the garden thus stirring up invertebrates for him to nom (he has me well trained).

Seriously... Raleigh did this advert in 1979 somewhere in the world? Not the UK I can tell you now! It would have caused a massive backlash, even way back then... Must have been in Belgium...
I remember the trouble with the Muddy Fox adverts....

On the Street…..Via Montenapoleone, Milano
Milan again, what can I say?
Going back a decade and the only thing that dates the image is the shoes. Not sure that I approve of the i-thing while riding but otherwise, well, chic

He rattles on about the perfect blouse. I like the bike: sensible, real, day-to-day transport. Milan's flat so that one speed is enough.

One speed, fine. The bike, not good day to day transport for some of us. Give me a roadie or good MTB set up any day and that is my sensible, real transport. YMMV.Thoglette wrote:He rattles on about the perfect blouse. I like the bike: sensible, real, day-to-day transport. Milan's flat so that one speed is enough.
