We seem to have done approximately the same distance in 2009, both missed our goals by 50% and both aiming for 12,000kms next year. I'm in.casual_cyclist wrote:I will sign up for 12k this year, even though in 2009 I did not even reach half my goal. My thinking is that I will be building up the k's for the PAP1200 in October so they should rack up fairly quickly. Here's to a good year.

You are welcome BUT please read any of those THREE emails you received or better still the Club Information page for an explanation as to why you got removed, i.e., didn't post here or in the 2009 thread; neums is not Neumo; and I wouldn't have recognised Neumo anyway as an active user as you are fairly new, so the user name is not one I recognise.
Now that you have extended me the courtesy of identifying yourself I will not remove you ... simple as that
Cheers
Andrew

I do most k's on the road...only started track a couple of months ago...I might need to get a computer on the track bike too...Ross wrote:8000km hey Emma, is that just around the track or do you get out on the road as well?
Managed over 9000km on the road in the last 12 months (my first 12 months) but don't want to scare myself by setting the bar too high for 2010...don't want to have nightmares of being chased by the red triangle...

Yeah it was. Just bad timing by the looks as you got in a little after I did the remove. Should be sweet now.

From the first post in this thread and the 2009 thread ....
There are some "rules" for 2010...
(1) Outside rides only please
(2) Prize winners can only be active members of the forum (i.e., joined the forums before July 1, 2010 and have at least 12 postings before July 1, 2010);
(3) Rankings as at December 31, 2010 determined by the primary club rankings (My Club at BJ)
(4) If you want to join in, you are most welcome. If you are not already in the competition, you need to wave the flag here in this thread as well as join the Australian Cycling Forums Club (your primary club) at Bike Journal as the Club is for active forumites;
(5) Please play fair and log your rides regularly so your fellow competitors now what they are up against
(6) Prize winners journal on BikeJournal.com should be viewable by the public/other club members, i.e., premium members;
(7) Prize for the winner will a jersey as per the 2008 and 2009 competitions.
Regards
Andrew
