YIKES mine are a year old I use them most days and take them off once or twice a week. The only issue I've had is the battery due to water ingress (I fixed that) and other people compalining they are too bright :) :) I still as yet not tried the 3W taillight from the same company on DX has anyone else tried it ??

Well I used the light tonight and it is very bright. Even allowed me to see down a very dark sidestreet I ride down. I'm pretty impressed with the Niterider, a nice focused beam for me to see where I am going and a wider beam for others to see me. So far I'm thinking it was well owrth the purchase.

Couldn't be happier with the 3w Rear tail light
Has not given a moments trouble
Yes...very bright
I use a Y splitter in my Pannier bag to split with 900 on front
Lasts easily for a week if I don't overuse the front
I have my rear light on 100% of the time I ride.... and if used alone it would last for weeks
I do carry the 2nd battery incase I'm running low at the end of the week if I've needed my front more (as the days get shorter)
But it all just works - morning and night 2 hrs a day 5 days a week

The "weird" part is the way you rotate to turn on and off - takes a little to get used to - i've found "SLOW" is the go
Hope it works as well for you as it does for me

Sounds great I'd need another battery though. I burn a front battery most days on high two days at most, I've been caught out with it going flat before. I assume with te rear no one has had any water entry issues.

No issues to report for my rear one, got it mounted on my seatpost copping all the wheel spray as well.

Front one needed some attention yesterday: the screw came loose that holds the light to the mount bit (that gets rubber banded to the handlebars). Took 90 seconds. If it starts going wobbly on the mount, I suggest tighening it before it falls completely off like mine. Good as new again now though

Got my replacement battery the other day and while it is much better protected with the rubber 'shell' I have supplemented that with some silicone sealant at the 'join's. The mounting bag is much better than the previous design too.

Just watch those straps on the new pouch, don't yank them too tight. I have had to sew the straps back together. The stitching is not the greatest where the hook joins the loop.

Went to my LBS about 6 weeks ago and the lights where $220 for the 900 lumen set, no discount offered by the shop so I left empty handed. I then saw the same lights on line for $90 plus postage. After rechecking they were the same model I sent the money across and they arrived a week later. So far I have used them quite a few times and they are excellent and well worth the money. :)
