Mattheq, thanks for that leaderboard. Quick question for anyone who may be able to asnwer it, on the club page where there is a leaderboard there are numbers in the right column. A black number which obviously looks to be your total kms ridden for the prurpose of the club board, but for some people there are red number with a plus or black numbers with a minus sign. Do these represent the amount you are in front or behind of your average daily target? I only have a total at present which I assume means on average I am spot on target.

I think you're referring to the numbers which show how much someone is in front or behind you

+1 This is just to motivate you to do an extra ride to gain a bigger lead on the person behind you (black, negative number) or catch the person ahead of you (red, positive number)

What's more I've admonished myself for whining about not getting my riding in while so many people in QLD have lost possessions while some have even died. My thoughts go out to them.

What I mean is that if you want the bragging rights of you hit the 10k mark first you need to set your goal to 10k. Otherwise it's open to anyone for the banter and enjoyment

I should start clocking up more K's next week when I return to work. 46k round trip so they'll add up nicely then I have my weekend ride on Sunday

Well we've actually been able to disembark from the ark up here - at least for the moment anyway. I've been told work don't want me as they haven't got anywhere for me to go so I'll be trying to make up a bit of ground up here.

no holidays for me here but shift work helps alot, can get a good ride in before and after work everyday. i have been working on intense sessions lately hence my frequent shorter rides this month, but usually try and get in a 100km ride a week.

Yeah well if he keeps this up he should have joined the 20k club

I'm finally starting to make some progress again now that the weather is getting better. I won't be commuting regularly though for a few weeks as I've got no workplace to go to due to the floods, but I'll try and keep some pressure on you guys out the front. Hopefully in Feb I'll really start to put some pressure on.
