Has it got something to do with riding an insane number of repeats up a local Mt???

So who is going to give the CTS Bucket List Challenge a go?... me no.
Carmichael obviously needs a bit of good coverage after covering for Lance for so long  .

Free Tri Speed has taken an interesting look at the accuracy of Strava power meter readings. It might be of interest.

Yep, after using the PowerCal for a few months, the simple fact is that a PM without real time feedback is useless as a genuine training tool, and it's got to be ACCURATE if you want to use it for pacing. If I'm good for 5 minutes at 270W, I can't be using a tool that says I'm doing 265W when I'm really doing 280... practiced a breakaway last night after no one rolled through with me for a turn (LOL) and just killed it for 4-5 minutes. A power reading is really only going to be useful if it's quite accurate for that distance.

A decent PM is definitely on my shopping list ;)

The Powercal just isn't any good - especially when it correlates from heart rate and apparently a few other metrics. From heart rate alone, given it is so variable among people - it makes the figures a bit difficult to rely on. I've got one myself - happy with it as a HR monitor, not happy with it as a power meter.

On a brighter note - I just about nearly knocked off G.S. on a segment!  If I'd pushed a tiny bit harder... I'll take a second place though. :D  I'm shocked!

On the discussion board for the challenge people were saying 17 days ago they've got them. I thought mine might have gone missing. It seems they have messed up with sizing on some of the orders as well.
Hopefully shouldn't be too far off, fingers crossed the right size as well!

Cheers Stuart, yesterday I found out the difference with what's always been a pretty comfortable 200 km range, and subsequent meltdown around the 270 km mark
