I am about to throw my computer through the window. I cannot get it to download.

I go to Garmin Connect and it does it no worries, Strava just says error. I have tried about 50 times.

Did you install Garmin Communicator? Had a similar problem...worked in Garmin Connect but not with Strava.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy.

Yes I did, just found a way to get around it by uploading to Garmin Connect then exporting to Strava.

The Suffer Score is abit pointless, maybe its just for people who wants to show how much they can suffer, try lowering your max to maybe 150.
Apparently, all my rides are in leisure mode, with me churning out 160-170 on hard efforts.

I tend to agree with you there.
There's a couple rides where it was very tough going due to the weather conditions (headwinds anyone??) and yet as far as Strava are concerned, it was a nice leisurely ride for me...

Yeah, it really needs somewhere to set your max heart rate or better yet to set your own zones up.

Thats my week over, have been feeling pretty flat all week so I am taking the next 3 days off the bike.

At least I have kept my Commuter lead up until now.

Back into it next week to try and break 200kms.

Also how do I join the climbing comp? I am starting from behind because I have only logged about 900kms on the Garmin for this year.

I could probably send you over my GPX files for the rides we have done. I think we climbed 900m that day we went out west.

Thanks mate but I had it on there for those rides. Did you sort your spokes out?

Could you guys please stay off the bikes. I like the look of that polka dot jersey and this might be the first (and last) time I ever win anything on a bike.

Go to the KOM Challenge page and join with ACF as your club. With 11 members in the challenge so far we've managed to climb to 47th place on the clubs leaderboard.

I am in. Logged 3 rides for this week and found it good to compare with other rides around the area. My name on strava is Gary Gordon.
P.S. I believe Richard 0' Connell is from Gerringong. :)

I'm a newbie to the forum so have joined the ACF Club, hope you don't mind?
I have been using Strava for just over 12 months now. You can find me as "Duke6amer ." over there. :)

I reckon it is the best online GPS based recording site around at the moment, especially given the developers are very active & open to suggestions for improvements.

Sounds like you are having a crack at us unfit people?[well, ppl with a raised HR for whatever reason] Like we have a high heartrate on purpose, to prove how tough we are!?

Sure, I would like a lower rate. Guess I should try to be more like you and lower it to 150  .

How about you try to accept that your average joe has a higher rate and the system is setup to suit the majority.

I used Google Chrome and it worked. In 10th place now and have added 11000 metres to the total.

Still a ways to got yet, but I am happy with 209kms this week. Am slowly trying to build it up before I tackle the Round the Bay in a day ride in Oct.
