Yes! Actually, no it's okay as long as others can ride the KOM area. I was KOM on a segment I made, as I was the only one who had ridden that path.jasonc wrote:is it bad that both my KOMs are for segments I've created?
lol. other have ridden them. so that's ok then. One is 1600kms away and I only have it my 1 second....Marto wrote:Yes! Actually, no it's okay as long as others can ride the KOM area. You could always prop open the front and back door of your house, ride your bike through, and make that a segment.
you live near me dimma - stay away from the KOM of mine - you've got enough (please?)Dimma wrote:Not at all, a couple of mine have only been ridden by less than 10 ppl. I use them as weekly effort checks, to gauge fatigue.
I do miss the way Strava sorted them, used to be by number of times ridden not date.
flag them for them. i do!wizardhat wrote:At least you've ridden them, I see plenty of KOMs where the KOM is clearly in a car or had a GPS failure but didn't bother to flag their ride.
how come she doesn't have a "pro" next to her name?!jules21 wrote:i came across emma carney's strava profile. cripes
dunno - she's not a pro rider? this is on top of the running and swimming she does!jasonc wrote:how come she doesn't have a "pro" next to her name?!
wiki says she is retired, hence no longer professional maybe?jules21 wrote:dunno - she's not a pro rider? this is on top of the running and swimming she does!jasonc wrote:how come she doesn't have a "pro" next to her name?!
Let us know what you think of strava premium. I tried a free month trial a little while ago, and didn't seem to think at the time that there was much value.sloth wrote:... I just upgraded to strava premium for the month to see whether its worth it or not.
Edit. Just reread your post and you do need Bryton Bridge.ldrcycles wrote:Just joined, from 2 rides i think i have a 2nd and a 7th, and on one segment i managed to sneak in ahead of 2 local pros and my arch nemesis .
Is it possible to upload directly to strava from a bryton? And is it possible to get files off said bryton without brytonbridge? (work computer won't let me install it).
Thanks for that, sounds easier than what i was doing (saving rides to my computer as gpx then uploading to strava), but i was hoping i could plug in the bryton, open the strava website and take them directly off the gps. My expectation was that it would behave like a flash drive, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I should get used to it though.PA wrote: Edit. Just reread your post and you do need Bryton Bridge.
Go to My data, then My Collection.
This should now show you a list of your rides.
Click in the check box for each ride and click on the Strava button.
You will then be prompted for your Strava user name and password.
You activities will now be in Strava.
Loch there's probably a pretty simple script that would do that for you...ldrcycles wrote:Thanks for that, sounds easier than what i was doing (saving rides to my computer as gpx then uploading to strava), but i was hoping i could plug in the bryton, open the strava website and take them directly off the gps. Stick their strava athlete number into veloviewer and check out their rides that way...not saying I have done it Makes it very easy to view their rides then via strava.toolonglegs wrote: I also don't like the new security settings... can't check out the top riders in my area any more without following them .
Well .. after one training ride I've come to the conclusion strava premium isn't worth it.... I'll downgrade at the end of the month.snark wrote:
