Well, I'll offer up my own bastardised duallie to send shivers down your spines.
Now that my commuter is in the emergency ward (aka LBS workshop) after my stack last week, I'll be riding this one instead:

I came across this today while out riding, I don't if it's ugly or just plain weird.

I want to have a go on that...... Looks interesting.... Not much of a commuter and certainly not an off roader...

Started to see a few around and I have to say the new Specialized Venge is one ugly bike. Lurid paint, fussy decals everywhere. Probably awesome to ride though.

I reckon the venge is an awesome bike but they paint job as you said is a shocker, if they kept it as they had it in the promo's I'd buy one straight away.

I'd have a go at that! Recalls seeing an article about it on the cretiniser a while back, being ridden by Steve Marsh the Adelaide trials guru, it carves like a demon 8)

After seing it working, it looks like fun. I wouldn't mind seeing a decent video of it in action, the one on the web page is pretty crappy.

Needs the bicycle-mower conversion to really make it multi-purpose

That one would scare pedestrians off shared paths!

What about a rotary mower? (looks like thay made a serious attempt to get the gearing right!):

I tried to find a vacuum cleaner equivalent, but there are none. That's too bad

Not bike, but sure meets the 'ugly' criteria

That's pretty cheap if it's in good condition - especially that front assembly is prone to abuse.
These are the best part of $1000 new - I have only ever seen a handful of these in Perth, although IIRC they were developed here...
I remember meeting a guy test-riding the prototype for them a few years back down at my local shops...

I dunno, I don't see muchh ugly here. The cane bike is downright elegant.
The chopped up blue monster with the rocket boost, or whatever it is, may not be the prettiest thing, but it seems to work, and its being used. Utility has it's own beauty.
As for the lawn mower bike, thatis a cracker.
I like stuff that does not so mich push the envelope, as rip it up and stomp on the bits.
