There are some gems among that lot. Some people are true artists at heart, and then there's the rest of them that seem to suffer some sort of religious affliction.

I was watching Monster Garage the other night. Its interesting seeing how those guys approach a project. It starts out as some sort of rough concept that gets a few rough sketches based on an available donor vehicle. Then they are right into it in the workshop designing as they go. They are guaranteed to generate lots of conflicts, design issues, and programming difficulties. That seems to be the core of the program. Anyway last night they had a monster desert dragster challenge. After a bunch of difficulties they finished the car at midnight and took it down to the local beach for a test run. The cops put an end to it before they could properly evaluate it.

Jesse James drove it in the drag comp the next day and lost handsomely. He doesn't take losing very well. He kicked the car and drove off on his motorbike and came back in a humvee with a minigun mounted on it. That's one of those machine guns with revolving barrels. It was evening and as the sun sank below the horizon the desert air air was rent with roar of sustained fire and the flash of tracer arcing through the twilight at 3,000 rounds a minute as he absolutely shredded that failure of a car. As the fire died down they gathered around what was left of that still burning perforated and much diminished wreck like a desert camp fire and rolled the credits. What a showman.

I never really liked that guy. Seems like abit of a douche with the arrogance and cheating.

That shows pretty cool tho, how they manage to hack things together. They get a rediculous amount of freebie parts tho - their 'budgets' for each project are always out.

I kinda like it! Looks very clean to me - all the cables hidden and the paintjob is startling but it has some neat touches i.e. where the red strip jumps the gap between the frame and the fork.

While the forks look like they are made from, ahem, "solid" timber, the rest of the bike looks like "decorative" box section around an otherwise ordinary bike.

And David_G that is only the second worst joke I have heard this week.
