I just changed jobs so my commute went from 20km each way down to about 12.5km each way. That's 75km a week extra I'll have to ride recreationally! Sadly my bike and my right heel are both stuffed... bloody annoying start to the year! Would have done hundreds more by now if everything was running smoothly... but I guess that's cycling...

Ah, chain is slipping... s'ok, I can deal... saving for a new bike, so I'm reluctant to spend anything on my current one. Once my heel sorts itself out and I get a new bike though... it'll be on for young and old

So I did 140+K this morning hoping it wasn't going to do anything disasterous. It didn't, but I will have to replace it this week as it's driving me nuts.

You must have too much free time on your hands or need a visit to a therapist maybe. Slow down a little lads. Its a long way to December.
But we will see how many of you tough out the Winter months.

... leaving for work in Winter (or late Autumn for that matter) when it's -5 real and -10 apparent... is quite bracing.

Will be trying to put together a leader board for all members this week. I'm not 100% on how to do it but I'll figure it (I hope)

This is how obsession begins. If my life wasn't so sad I would turn my back on this nonsense but ... I just can't.
God I'm a loser.

You come home, log onto bike journal, post your ride, check your position and "Bugger! If I'd only done 5 more km I would have jumped 10 places".
